Biography
Alex Richardson is an Associate Professor in Business Information Systems, and Deputy Director (Education) of the Research School of Management. His research interests include user-centred design, computer-assisted education, human-computer interaction, immersive virtual reality, business intelligence and building decision support capability. Alex’s work has been published in academic journals including Australian Journal of Management, Behaviour & Information Technology, and Journal of Computer Information Systems, and he had research projects funded by the Defence Science and Technology Organisation and the Australian Communications Consumer Action Network. Alex is also a long serving executive member of the National Centre for Information Systems Research, founding member of Information Technology Educators in the Australian Capital Territory, and member of Association of Information Systems, Association for Computing Machinery, Australian Computer Society, and Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
