Biography

Nghia (Andrew) Tran is Senior Lecture in Work-Integrated Learning.  He has co-authored more than 50 academic publications in the areas of graduate employability, work-integrated learning, skills gaps, teacher education, and international education. Nghia is particularly interested in where research and student experience intersect, dominantly focusing on how to improve students’ learning experience and enhance graduates’ employability. He is also interested in human resource development research topics. He has published articles in prestigious journals such as Higher Education, Teaching and Teacher Education, Teaching in Higher Education, and Education + Training. Nghia’s research has been supported by a number of research grants and scholarships including the European Commission’s Erasmus Mundus scholarship, the Australian Government’s Endeavour Postgraduate Award, the Australian Research Council, Vietnam’s National Foundation for Science & Technology Development, and Australian Strategic Teaching and Learning Grant.
