RSM Scholarships

IDCARE Research Supplementary Scholarship

Funding for this Award has been provided by IDCARE, which was founded by Mr David Lacey (Group CEO). IDCARE is the national identity and cyber support service that was formed to address a critical support gap for individuals confronting identity and cyber security concerns. Mr Lacey has extensive experience in identity and cyber security, law enforcement, and national security, advises governments and corporations on customer-centric identity and cyber security responses, and is recognised globally for his contributions to the field.

The objective of the Award is to support up one outstanding domestic candidates to enable them to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy program under the guidance of Professor Sigi Goode on a topic related to cyberpsychology and deception, based in the Research School of Management in the ANU College of Business and Economics.

Eligibility

The Award is available to one prospective domestic ANU candidate who:

  1. is enrolling full-time in a program of study for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the ANU College of Business and Economics;
  2. is in receipt of a AGRTP stipend scholarship; and
  3. is conducting a research project under primary supervision by Professor Sigi Goode.

Master of Business Administration Scholarships

ANU Research School of Management offers MBA Scholarship awards each year, in Semester 1. All domestic and international applicants to the MBA or MBA (Advanced) who meet the program admission requirements are automatically considered for the MBA Scholarship. No application is necessary, as all eligible students are considered.

Selection is made on the basis of work experience and academic merit. Other factors such as diversity and inclusion and Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) results, if available, will also be taken into account.  

The Research School of Management identifies specific diversity categories each year, based on the need to enrich student cohort and learning and align with the University’s education strategies and goals. These categories are currenlty:

  • Indigenous Australians
  • Women  
  • Regional Australians
  • Government sector (Australia and Asia‐Pacific government)
  • Not for profit sector
  • Private sector
  • Embassy and diplomatic sector
  • ANU alumni

Honours Scholarships

The Research School of Management offers up to three full-time Honours scholarship awards each year to all commencing domestic or international students who meet the eligibility criteria. No application is necessary, as all eligible students are considered.
