Honours is an elite and challenging undergraduate research program for top students. It requires a fourth year of additional study after the three-year Bachelor Degree (or combined degree equivalent). The Honours program may be undertaken in one year full-time or on a part-time basis.
Generally, the Honours program includes research method and theory coursework components (4 courses or equivalent to the value of 24 units). The remainder of the Honours program consists of 24 units in the form of a thesis of up to 100 pages.
In 2024, we are offering 4 RSM Honours Scholarships (awards) @$15,000 each to ANU UG students (domestic or international) who are interested in building upon their studies and the completion of research methods courses to produce an original and independent research thesis under the supervision of an academic. It is advisable that the Honours student identify a potential academic supervisor to discuss about their research area and topic. For information including the conditions that apply to the Honours Award, please go to RSM Honours Scholarship or contact the convenor at toni.eagar@anu.edu.au.
